First attempt at warp face weaving
Dressing the loom, which is an arduous task, starts with winding on the warping board, threading through the heddles, combing the yarn and tying up.
Happily weaving straight drafts (balanced weaving which shows both warp and weft)
Practicing tabby, twills, log cabin, herringbone and double weave
Experimenting with textures (wools, hemp and cotton) and patterns as well as tension and selvages.
